- Study:
- All classes offered in our faculty/graduate school are taught in Japanese. The students must have advanced-level of Japanese language skill. But if your Japanese language skill is not enough to take regular classes, you will be given an opportunity to enroll in Japanese language course offered by the International Student Center.
You will have an academic advisor and tutor to consult academic matters. - Accommodation:
- Exchange Students are given priority for room allocations in the university dormitories (The dormitory that you can live in is informed after the end of February).
All rooms are furnished with basic things such as desk chests bare bed (minus futon, sheets and pillows: you need to buy them on your own), and air-conditioner.- Monthly Fee (for example)
Kobe University International Residence ¥ 5,900 (as of October 2011)
Kobe University Kokui-ryo ¥21,400 (as of October 2011)
(Additional costs are required for electricity, water, etc. And management expense and cleaning cost to ready the room for the next occupant are also required upon arrival.) - Commuting (from the residence to the campus) :
Kobe University International Residence ¥600(one-way)/40~50 minutes by train and bus
Kobe University Kokui‐ryo ¥400(one-way)/20~30 minutes by bus
